NICOLA  WESTERMANN

Nicola is a freelance Producer currently living + working in Berlin, Germany.

Born and raised in Northern Germany she moved to New York City in 2001 being curious to learn about the world of filmmaking and what started out as a one-year internship turned into an almost 20 year adventure. In her early years she was able to get experience in different areas within this creative field until she started to focus in on the actual production process. In the years to follow Nicola worked with notable directors on award-winning feature films as well as commercials, music videos and web-videos for renowned artists and a wide range of commercial clients.

In 2012 she joined Alldayeveryday, a multifaceted company offering individualized approaches to commercial production, creative services, original programming + entertainment as their Head of Production. In this position which she held until the summer of 2019 she was in charge of handling all incoming  job inquiries to include managing all bidding elements, client / agency correspondence, Directors treatments, contracts, etc. Furthermore Nicola was overseeing all current productions across all Directors from pre-production through shoot to delivery. In addition to her responsibilities as Head of Production Nicola produced herself as well.

Whereas most of the projects were centered around New York + LA her production career has taken her all over the United States, Rio De Janeiro, London, Puerto Rico and Mexico City. This diverse on-set experience paired with the extensive international bidding component while at Alldayeveryday has allowed her to build a large network of wonderful local contacts and talented crews around the world.

Nicola speaks multiple languages. German is her mother tongue, she is fluent in English, has basic knowledge of French and knows a tiny bit of Spanish.
